Our Shepherd's Hut
Linton Lookout is a brand-new Shepherd's Hut, built locally in the Scottish Borders, and located at Linton Bankhead Farm, just 7 miles from Kelso. This exclusive glamping site, which accommodates up to two adults (and up to two small dogs/one larger dog), enjoys an elevated position on the traditional sheep farm run by sisters Katie and Vicky. South-west facing views guarantee spectacular sunsets and Linton Lookout is the perfect base for the variety of adventures you're yet to have in the south of Scotland.

Tastefully decorated throughout with natural tones and materials, our Shepherd's Hut allows you to relax surrounded by country charm, whether that's lounging with a good book or taking a much-needed nap after a long hike in the Cheviots.
Room for Two
Linton Lookout is the perfect space for two. We have an elevated queen bed, a compact yet well-equipped kitchen with cooker and a fridge - ideal if you want to stock up on hearty breakfasts and energy-filled picnics for a day in the hills. There is also space for two small dogs or one larger dog in the Shepherd's Hut.
Equestrian Facilities

Linton Lookout is as much a window to the nature surrounding the property, as it is a shelter from the elements. Green spaces all around, and Dark Skies above, allow you to truly disconnect from busy schedules and admire the Scottish countryside all year round.
Outdoor Spaces
Linton Lookout's outdoor space makes this glamping spot. We have an outdoor hot tub, a custom-built seating area that features outdoor cinema facilities and a firepit/BBQ that will see you cooking outside and stargazing long in to the night.
Bike Storage & Charging
The Cheviot hills and the wider Scottish Borders have some fantastic biking trails. At Linton Lookout, we have secure bike storage available as well as outdoor charging points for e-bikes.
